Let's have fun

AIR & SPORT

The hill of the village, far from the daily hustle and bustle, offers large spaces to let off steam on mountain bikes, run, cycle, meditate and get high in every sense of the word!

10 min away: The Kronthal , a well-known climbing site in the region, will have you touching the sandstones.

At 1 / 2H, to combine nature and pleasure: several tree climbing parks make you and your children real adventurers. If you like wild animals, you will undoubtedly be interested in the Montagne des Singes and the Volerie des Aigles . As for the zoos, those of Karlsruhe or Mulhouse are veritable arches of Noah.

5 min away: if you are looking for activities closer to Gîte, then the Marlenheim Tourist Office is the closest to the Nussbaum.

SMALL GROCERY SHOPPING

And of course, who says countryside necessarily means Markets: for fans of Markets and local producers, we offer several good addresses where you will find everything you need to make good homemade meals.

Close by, you might as well go on foot: La Ferme du Cabri with its delicious cheese products, good cold meats, vegetarian dishes, (almost) everything concocted by Jean Pierre, the farmer of Sonnenberg.

10 min away: La Ferme Vierling in Schnersheim: a market gardener who offers organic fruits and vegetables, local products and who specializes in the production of garlic, onions and shallots.

The nearest weekly markets: In Wasselonne (10 min) on Place du Général Leclerc and Place du Marché, every Monday morning, and in Marlenheim (5 min) on Place du Maréchal Leclerc every Saturday morning.

Meeting point in Marlenheim (2.5 km): for baguette and kougelhopf, grilled meats and all your other groceries.

THE CITY

Strasbourg: You are close to Strasbourg, the city where all roads meet, and where all imaginations meet. We invite you to visit the latitude-gallimard site which offers you an unusual and quirky Strasbourg.

For the classics, the tourist office offers guided tours: For Culture, get a Museums Pass (we recommend the Alsatian museum, the Tomi Ungerer center, etc.).

The website of the City of Strasbourg informs you every week of the cultural agenda. You can also pick up the program from the Boutique Culture de Strasbourg located in front of the Cathedral and which allows you to obtain tickets for shows at the best price.

For a “culture and leisure” program with a wider range of action, the Info-culture site will bring you complete satisfaction, as will the Tourisme-Alsace site .

SOME WINE

The wine route: let yourself be immersed in the most beautiful detours in France. Nordheim already gives you an overview and you will be won over by the villages of the wine route from Marlenheim to Guebwiller. We recommend Riquewihr, Ammerschwihr, Ribeauvillé or even Kaysersberg (the Christmas market has kept its authenticity). Try Alsace and find your favorite village. Let go of your GPS from north to south and let yourself be wandered ... map of the wine route and www.cave-dagobert.com

Our favorites: the merry Alsatian winegrowers present at the Salon Brut (es) des vins nature .
